Didactic

The difficulty for beginners who come to the diving is to be able to choose among the infinite existing educational, not knowing the difference between a method and another, between one and the other teaching and their diverse backgrounds.
This page will try to give some insight into the different teaching that coexist within the school, UTRtek-Cedip Sias-CMAS. It will be up to the student to choose which training process undertaken.

UTRtek

History, goals and standards.

Underwater Technical Research was created in January 2001 as Underwater Association and converted in 2010 into a
corporation under the name UTRtek UK Ltd, and consists of a Recreational & Technical range
Instructors who only identified in an underwater which aims situational awareness.
The entrance into the Recreational Diving defined diving industry has created in fact the first Italian Teaching Underwater
whose programs include all major diving level and Diver Instructor:

Recreational Diving
Technical Diving
Cave Diving
Rebreather pSCR ECCR & Diving

UTRtek UK Ltd has anticipated many Didattiche World Cup but not only has knowledge and therefore of extremely advanced training programs and among the most modern.
UTR means Underwater Technical Research, where Underwater Search of Training for Technical must logically understood the objective of the research and development of teaching techniques to train divers. In letterare translation I am therefore expressed the objectives namely: UTR is an organization that has its primary objective in the development and scientific research diver training.
Underwater Technical Research is also aware of how scuba diving is conducted in an extraordinary environment, where technical and psychological skills of the diver are the essential security bases. It is also based on these considerations that UTR has included the rating Psychic / Aptitude as a binding requirement for the issuance of any patent, therefore UTR releases certifications by applying accurate technical and ethical evaluations.
Members UTR founders have participated such as safety divers in high depth in a number of deep diving world record, are prestigious publications and educational consultants in the industry, and have decades of experience in training emblematic professional diver.
The final result of the above indicates UTR as the undisputed synonym for Professional Quality.

The method

The teaching method UTR is based on a system where are calibrated in each training course materials. In a program curated the logical sequence of topics, repetition and determination of content, which historically represent the greatest difficulties in the educational programs.
The real revolution is in relegating computers and tables for the sole role of support and bail-out for the Diver in the belief that the real theoretical and practical knowledge to handle 360 ° dive, you only if we study and put into practice notions and decompressive procedures through a decompression training development staff. A computer display does not teach anything to the diver, indeed makes it dependent on the user who can use it even without basic elementary knowledge. The decompression Mnemonic UTRtek is a system, generated to give the possibility to the diver both technical and recreational, to manage in real time its ascent profile, everything following the top a rigid basic training, and further adding the parameter of flexibility derived from a careful analysis of their psycho-physical situation in immersion phase.

MNEMONIC DECO System

This decompression system offers a ski progression totally decided by the diver taking into account two fundamental aspects:
a) Considerations on the dissolution of aggregate in tissues.
b) Considerations of the microbubbles theory.
The result: no computer, no tables, no dependence on an instrument with regard to the development of decompression. Starting from the practical conviction that every dive is a decompression dive, we can say that even dive that is within the time described the safety curve, it needs to make a minimal decompression, which is a function of the dive share same . In addition to that, it should be specified that a table or a computer, may not work for everyone. Or rather, it is said that every day the same diver desaturates the same way; as it is said that all participants to the same dive underwater desaturino the same way; but the computer always creates a unique profile decompression.
It proposes a method that can effectively take into account the actual physical conditions of the sub dipped, also in relation to environmental stimuli.
The project, called Mnemonic UTRtek Deco System, can be applied both in diving when cornering (Deco ski Minima) outside the safety curve. The system offers great advantages to the diver who uses it, as it can extrapolate its optimum decompression profile with a disarming simplicity, considering its real psycho-physical situation at the time of 'the beginning of the ascent.
Avoiding making the biggest mistake that a man can set down, to replace the brain with the computer!

purpose Current
It is currently a structure which ultimately has aligned itself to the well established trend by countless educational agencies, to organize in a modern way and adapted to new requirements and technologies teaching of diving. It is well equipped with a new and specific organizational system with categorization of the different levels of difficulty and different specialties with the release of related patents and certifications.

CMAS has a star system for ranking both instructors divers.

For scuba diving certifications.

Plongeur 1 (P1): dedicated to the approaching underwater, provides the necessary information on safety and use of the equipment under water. The patent makes approval in guided day dives, within the safety limits of up to 18 meters. They are treated the adjustment control, diver communications, diving equipment, decompression tables, safety rules and to Basic Life Support basics

Plongeur 2 (P2): explores some specific issues including the deep dive in enotturna share, also recovering the rudiments of BLS and deepening them. This level provides a license to dive within 30 meters depth in pairs, is that deep night. In order to reach this level is required, minimum age of 15 years and experience of at least 20 logged dives, 10 of which are over 10 meters deep

Plongeur 3 (P3): The BLS themes are further explored, providing the diver already experienced the underwater rescue techniques. It is the introductory course to the instructor patents and requires a minimum age of 16 years and at least 40 dives since obtaining the P2

Plongeur 4 (P4) assigned to a diver P3 with at least 100 dives after P3 and after two years of activity at the organizational level of the safety while diving.

Jacques-Yves Cousteau
Underwater fishing, already in the 60s, began to be a serious problem because of the impoverishment of the fish fauna in the areas where this activity was more intense. The then President founder Jacques-Yves Cousteau asked to completely eliminate this activity in the statutes, and finally, following yet another disapproval by the Governing Council, in 1973 he resigned and would not have anything to do with the CMAS . At the time, the fact caused a stir in the world of diving and the international scientific world and laid the foundation for a different vision for the management of diving and sea use.

Cousteau;
He called himself a technician "Oceanographic". He was in reality a sophisticated lover of nature, especially of the navy. His work allowed people of all continents to visit life that lies beneath the ocean's surface and explore through television the resources of the "blue continent". The work produced by Cousteau also created a new kind of scientific communication that caused some criticism by traditional academics. The cosiddettodivulgazionismo, a simple and understandable form of sharing scientific concepts, was soon used for other disciplines and became one of the most appreciated characteristics of modern television broadcasting.
The documentary information found in the words of Cousteau's a simple outline to follow. Today the figure of Cousteau is admired and well-liked all over the world, thanks to the many who love the sea, and is regarded with a kind of devotion, as symbolic of adventure, nature and exploration. Lacarta the Rights of Future Generations was proposed by Jacques-Yves Cousteau and his team in collaboration with UNESCO and approved by nel1991; has collected, currently, memberships in more than 100 countries. He has been called the Cousteau reserve, a protected marine area located in dellaGuadalupa department.
